Shine a light on awareness, the hidden wakes up
The Moon reflects the light of the Sun. That’s not hard to understand. Like a crow is a crow and an ocean is an ocean is also not difficult to understand. Yet the ocean below still gives up her secrets. Just as the crow flies, there’s a mystery above us as well. Which on occasion may give up secrets. Because the presence of the Moon and Sun seem to be reflected in the underlying imagination and awareness of society. This intimate and mysterious relationship implies the Moon or underlying imagination reflects the Sun or the consciousness of society. In other words, our thoughts may inadvertently and mindfully become apparent within society. Which may come into our awareness as an obvious and not-so obvious reflection of the times. Which could expand our awareness, consequently awakening our innermost. Thus, Monument to humanity is an invitation to WATCH.
Apparently, humans made a tower to make a name for themselves which got the attention of God. According to the Lord, since humans had one language, it meant humans could achieve anything they wanted. For whatever reason, the construction of the tower came to a halt because of Confusion of Tongues; was it for pride? Or was it for their highest good? If that really happened, the Binary Code has healed that old wound, one way it's being applied is by the internet, like with the advent of social media bridging the language barrier between cultures with the translating function. The art piece celebrates the world speaking to each other once again, but not to tempt fate, a humble paper monument. The collage piece is a statement of the times which symbolizes trading our values for substitutes like profit over water security, or it could be a personal statement that symbolizes money over love.
